Orkestar RTW
The highlight of the Saturday night dance party is the band Orkestar RTW from Seattle – great musicians playing primarily traditional dance and folk music from the countries of Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia.
They were a hit at Lyrids 2016, Lyrids 2015, at the Salt Spring Island Folk Dance Festival in 2010, and we are delighted to have them play again for our fourth Lyrids Festival in Burnaby in 2017.
