Last chance for full-weekend early-bird pricing is tomorrow. Lyrids is the only annual folk dance festival in the Pacific Northwest and we are flying in top-notch dance instructors for your benefit. Your timely registration will help us make this festival the best ever. Our thanks to everyone who has already registered.
Dances are chosen to suit all ages and abilities including beginners. Although Saturday performances include amazingly athletic Ukrainian dancing, we will be taught folk-dancer friendly, accessible, mainly non-partner dances.
Roberto Bagnoli, George & Irina Arabagi have been travelling to various festivals to rave reviews. This is our chance to experience their teaching and their dances!
But there is much more to the Lyrids festival than learning new dances! Remember the dance party on Friday night and all the dancing during the many breaks, Orkestar RTW’s beautiful music on Saturday night, brilliant performances, the festival market, the abundant food, snacks and beverages, and, most important of all, the camaraderie with all the other people that share our love of folk dancing. This is a festival not to be missed!
