NOON	Yves Moreau and France Bourque-Moreau Traditional dance of Quebec – past and presentWho were the ancestors of the French-Canadians who migrated from France to Canada in the 17th and 18th centuries? From which parts of France did they originate?Yves and France will illustrate with pictures and film clips the evolution of dance and music traditions in Quebec and other parts of French Canada. From the influence of French court dances to the Irish, Scottish and American connections including step dancing. They will talk about the people who have done research on the subject and also show us video footage of contemporary amateur and professional artists who have adapted dance and music material for the stage.
1:00 PM	Jaap Leegwater – Jaap’s Golden Oldies In this 90 minute session we will be live in Amsterdam with Jaap Leegwater, who will reteach some of his “Golden Oldies” Bulgarian repertoire.
