Formed by a group of friends who wanted an excuse to sing together, Zakuska has been entertaining the Seattle folk dance scene (including frequent appearances at the Northwest Folklife Festival) since 2010.
Zakuska’s wide repertoire includes songs and instrumental tunes from the Balkans (Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey) and occasionally, elsewhere. Zakuska specializes in multipart vocal arrangements.
