Our seventh Lyrids Folk Dance Festival, co-organized with Kyklos International Folk Dancers, features Tineke and Maurits van Geel teaching Armenian and Roma dances from different countries mixed with some international top hits in both mornings. In the afternoons, cameo workshops covering Bulgarian dances, Turkish dances, Israeli dances, Seated dances, Balkan singing, Instrumental music, and Drumming. At mealtimes, watch cultures talks and memorable videos from past Salt Spring Island & Lyrids Folk Dance Festivals.
